Cohort 7
Key Quotes
"What you learn through others' experience in the discussion is invaluable—the relatability and relationships are so rich."
"I just kind of worked out how I was doing it. One session was late at night which was favorable for the family, and I made the commitment."
"I was trying my best to do both sessions. When I couldn't, I'd wake up at 5 in the morning and smash the session out."
Conversation Highlights
Q: How did you manage CC while being a father?
At first I was like, I don't know how I'm going to juggle all this. But once I worked out the rhythm—one session late at night, one during the day—it became a commitment I could make because I had the flexibility.
Q: What was it like entering the bootcamp?
At first it was so good, I was frothing. And then I realized I'm in a pressure cooker. This is going to be a journey. I'm climbing a mountain.
Q: How did you handle the time zone challenges from Australia?
When the time zone changed and it was 11pm, I would have been cooked—falling asleep trying to sit. So I adapted: I'd do my own solo sit at 5am, then join the discussion for session two and catch up on session one's discussion.
