Transmission 101
Staying Present
A Self-Paced CourseFive teachings on the small, constant act of leaving the present — and what it takes to stay.

Welcome
You're here because the technique isn't the problem anymore. You can concentrate, you can soften, you can watch the breath — and still, by noon, the old pattern is running you. This course is about what that pattern actually is: the small, constant act of leaving the moment you're in — and what it takes to stop.
Before You Begin
What Is Transmission?
Transmission-based practice means direct contact with experience as it unfolds, without leaning on technique, maps, or a target state. It asks two things of you: a willingness to be seen, and a willingness to stay open when you don't yet know what's being pointed at.
How to Move Through It
- Set aside at least three hours per lesson. Two hours, uninterrupted, for the teaching — plus roughly an hour afterward for reflection. Meditate along with the video, then take time to reflect on your own.
- Max one lesson per day. Let each teaching land before you move to the next.
- Treat the written material as homework. It is a study of its own, don't feel like you need to comprehend everything to continue to the next transmission. The Transmissions will help you digest the materials.
- Watch the discussion videos as another transmission. Feel into the others as they ask questions and speak. Stay open to direct relating.
- Don't rush. This isn't material to get through. Some teachings will ask you to come back to them — returning is the practice working, not a sign you fell behind.

Exiting by Getting Lost in Experience
From Discussion 1, Room 1
Getting absorbed into what arises can itself be an exit — attention leaves contact by dissolving into experience rather than staying with it. From Discussion 1, Room 1.

What Is Unconditioned Contact?
From Discussion 1, Room 1
Contact without conditions — meeting experience before preference shapes it. What it means to touch the moment without requiring it to be different. From Discussion 1, Room 1.

Orienting to Pain as Signal
From Discussion 1, Room 2
Pain re-read as information rather than threat — feeling it directly instead of managing it. From Discussion 1, Room 2.
